 I can only choose the Assault Rifle

Post I can only choose the Assault Rifle
What I know is that i can only choose the assault rifle and the magnum. sometimes but yet very rarely do i see the grenade launcher and stuff like that. I hate that so much. is there a certain level you have to be to unlock them all or something.
