WTF is with the last level?

 WTF is with the last level? i just watched a youtube vid on the last level of reach and when it tells you to survive how come your shields don't fu**in regenerate??? i mean it's friggin retarded

Re: WTF is with the last level? You sure you don't have BLACK EYE on?
it stops Shields from Regenerating, because in my Playthrough, my shields did regenerate on that level.

Re: WTF is with the last level? I think it goes by how much damage you have taken. After "x" amount of total damage, your helmet gets 1 crack in it, after "y" amount of total damage, your helmet gets 2 cracks. And after 2 cracks, and you reach "z" amount of total damage, and your shields are low, the cutscene begins.
