   |   Re: halo reach player limitno it would be laggy as hell and bungie servers would probably go down if even 3 people had full lobbies, that said they are boosting the no up to 22 I think.

 well i will take what u do...
 scene 1
 a dude with bad connection comes on and creates major lag he keeps going on tones of other games and because of the huge number of players on the server this makes it worse for a lot of other plays that in the end quit after campaign
 
 so i hope u see why this would not work well

   |   Re: halo reach player limitI think that invasion should go up to 24, not thirty two.  My reasoning is more people = more fun.  I do agree with the laggin point though.  So maybe a choice of 24 or 16 should be an option, if you are willing to have a possible lag, then go for the 24, if not, go with 16.

   |   Re: halo reach player limitThe problem with increasing the party size, is that Bungie has tested this stuff over and over and over again.  They make sure everything is perfect.  They realize that 16 is the most they can put in a party without having horrible after-effects and keep the matches even and fair.

   |   Re: halo reach player limitBecause 16 is where they feel comfortable.  They are looking to give players the best experience possible.  When they got to 18, they probably noticed minor problems happening.  So they probably decided that 16 is the best.  Considering that they probably are looking mainly at teams of 4, 20 would be the next number and that would be even worse than 18.
